The World’s Most Handsome Politicians

October 01, 2010 By: romeblogger Category: Rome

Studies have revealed that attractive politicians have an advantage in elections and they are more likely to be voted. Recently we have talked about the most attractive female politicians but if it is important for female politicians to be attractive then so should it be for the men. I think we can’t leave our female citizens eager to vote hanging.

Handsome politicians

At first I was inspired by a poll done by a Japanese survey organisation but when I saw that the first two politicians on that list were Japanese I couldn’t shake the feeling that this survey might be a little biased and when I read that Vladimir Putin made it on the Top 5, I decided to quickly drop that list and go out on my own to find some handsome politicians.

Here a short list of handsome politicians:

Nicholas Sarkozy (President France): There is something about the current president of France. Otherwise he would not be scoring a babe like Carla Bruni.

Arnold Schwarzenegger (Governor California): Former Mr Universe sure still makes a good figure. We definitely have to ignore the awful accent he has, but I mean, we’re just talking looks at the moment, right?!

Al Gore (former Vice-President US):

Barack Obama (US President):

Shashi Tharoor

Rahul Gandhi (member of Indian Parliament):

Boris Tadic (President of Serbia)

Junichiro Koizumi (former Prime Minister Japan)

Stephen Harper (Prime Minister Canada)

Tony Blair (former Prime Minister of the UK)

Sorry, but Berlusconi did not make the cut in my list. For what it’s worth Italy is more famous for the food than for hot politicians, but maybe you can prove me wrong. Rent apartments in Rome and go on a hunt for a hunky politician.

Sexy politicians

August 20, 2010 By: romeblogger Category: Rome

Many of the politicians who support our interests in the public sphere are sexy, pretty and attractive, in addition to being smart and rich.

Sexy politicians

Sometimes politics is a drag and some laws are totally absurd, the politicians are corrupt and what actually happens is boring even for a retiree with no hobbies but we must also see “the good parts.” I refer, of course to the beautiful and attractive ladies who represent our interests.

Because of centuries of an oppressive patriarchy, there are very few female politicians, but among them, there are some real lookers:

For example, Spanish politician Cayetana Alvarez, is beautiful, young and has a doctorate from the University of Oxford, was a former journalist of “The World” and is now a politician for the Partido Popular.

Austria combines sports with politics with the hope that things will be more “healthy.” Former Olympic swimmer in 1996, Vera Lischka is now representative of the Social Democratic Party in Austria.

Considered by many as the sexiest politician in the world, Yuri Fujikawa is a counselor in Hachinohe City, Japan. She is an independent conservative member of the Liberal DemocraticParty.

She surprised everyone by winning a record of 6962 votes in 2007.

We can´t foregt the beautiful Alina Kabaeva, a member of United Russia party. Even Vladimir Putin can confirm her luscious beauty in the face of rampant corruption. There are rumors that the two are a couple but so far the former president is denying the speculations.

We can´t talk about politics and forget Berlusconi and his … friendships. And it seems that Barbara Matera is a dear, dear friend indeed. Former model and dancer, her sexy ways danced her right into Parliament.

If someone as unattractive as Berlusconi can have a bevy of attractive woman by his side, there must be a reason, perhaps partly because Italy is a paradise of beautiful women. Rent Apartments in Rome and see for yourself. And by the way, which of them would you vote for?
