November 16, 2009 By: romeblogger Category: Rome

One of the secrets of world history forms part of our everyday life: the mysterious G-spot. Numerous scientists reveal time and again some new interesting details about the erogenous zone of the female body. Men especially try to find this particular spot for giving their women some incredible pleasure. But unfortunately most of them think that it’s like a button which you have to push and then everything will be fine. But, my dear fellows, it’s quite the reverse!

There are a lot of important facts which leads to an incredibly good orgasm. It’s like a team sport where each member contributes for reaching the victory. In this metaphorical sense, the G-spot would be like the team captain. Important keywords are the clitoral and the vaginal orgasm. Each woman has her personal preferences, but from the scientific point of view they don’t need to have a G-spot for reaching a climax. Besides, there isn’t any anatomical proof of the existence of the G-spot, rather than a special kind of accumulation of nerves in the vaginal zone. Nevertheless, scientific research doesn’t give up in the search of the G-spot. A lot of scientists talk about a kind of mystery. The G-spot is a bit like UFO’S – there are some claiming to have seen them, others don’t, or some people believing and others declining its existence.

This erogenous zone, which by the way is called Gräfenberg Spot, isn’t a new thing. It’s quite the opposite. The G-spot has a long history and has already appeared in different sexual literature throughout the centuries. Whether in The Kama Sutra (IV. century), in essays of the Dutch anatomist Regnier de Graaf (XVII. century) or in investigations of the famous gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg (1881-1957), there has always been a kind of rumor about a mysterious area in the vaginal zone.

In the end, nobody should despair in searching for the G-spot, because we all know that a women has numerous erogenous zones: starting with the earlobes, the neck, the nipples or the feet. The female body is just an exciting voyage of discovery.

The Italian capital can be called a past, present and future city. When you stroll through the streets of Rome, you’ll realize the magnificence and historic richness of the city. In fact, it is a mixture of the old Roman Empire, the Middle Ages, Christianity, Baroque, Mussolini’s fascist era and the contemporary Rome we know today. But it has always preserved it eternal beauty and magic!

Rome is a suitable city for all kinds of people: for adults, for children, for teenagers, for straight people, for gays, for single people, for married people, for Italians and foreigners… Rome enjoys a perfect climate; therefore, it is the perfect city for walking around and for eating outdoors. You can enjoy a delicious pizza, pasta or some delicious cheeses and exquisite wines.

When you see for the first time the Flavian amphitheatre, better known as the Coliseum, you will be left speechless. The amphitheatre was built by Vespasian, on top of the remains of the palace of Nero. The building was not completed until 80AD, under the rule of Emperor Domitian, the last emperor of the Flavian Dynasty. The amphitheatre was used to entertain people and therefore, it was one of the most remarkable monuments of the time. You wouldn’t need too much imagination to remember the fights between gladiators and the exalted screams of the Roman public!

Going on a few steps you’ll find the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where Romans used to go about their daily lives: trade, business, prostitution, justice, philosophy… From a distance you can see the Campidoglio and the Circus Maximus.

Then get ready to enjoy the spirituality and the greatness of the Holy See in the State of the Vatican City. In front of Piazza San Pietro, designed by Bernini, there is a huge dome by Michelangelo. It has a few arches and statues that will leave you impressed. The Basilica is a must: inside it, you feel like you were immersed in another world. Do not forget to visit the Vatican museums: Raphael’s rooms, The Sistine Chapel or the maps gallery.

In Rome there are plenty of tourist and non-tourist trips to join. The historic centre is the most beautiful part: from the Piazza Spagna to the Piazza Navona or the Agrippa Panthenon. The Jewish Quarter is interesting too, and it is considered a very alternative neighbourhood.

The Via del Corso is the most important street in Rome; there you can buy anything you want in the most famous stores of Italy: Prada, Versace, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Roberto Cavalli and Christian Dior to name but a few. Of course, there are shops with lower prices! Via di Ripetta is also a highly regarded street by the Romans. If you still have time, have a long walk through Villa Borghese, one of the most beautiful parks in Italy.

As you see, Rome is still a wonderful city. Its greatest charm is that you will always find something new and amazing to see. Rent Rome Apartments to have a rest and enjoy your stay there!

Epic Champions League Final: FC Barcelona v Manchester United

May 13, 2009 By: romeblogger Category: Rome

You couldn’t have asked for a better Champions League final. The match between Manchester United and Barcelona FC will be much more than a simple duel between two gigantic clubs. Firstly we’ll see the individual dual between the two club’s respective star players; Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi who will both try to demonstrate their football superiority on the pitch. The Portuguese star who is Balon d’Or and FIFA World Player 2008 is in one of the finest moments of his career. Messi though is snapping at his heels and is looking forward to being this year’s player of the year if Barcelona wins all their remaining trophies: La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Champions League. Secondly, Pep Guardiola who looks unstoppable will have to face Alex Ferguson, a Premier League heavyweight who’s been in charge of Manchester United since 1986.

champions league final 2009

On 27th May 2009 Barcelona and Manchester United will come face to face in Rome’s Olympic Studium after eliminating Chelsea and Arsenal in their semi-final matches respectively. Barcelona is looking for their third title while Manchester is hoping for a fourth. The mighty Barça acquired their passport to glory thanks to a last minute goal by Andrés Iniesta much to the dismay of a Chelsea team who hardly let Barcelona get into their stride and effectively sealed all the entrances to the Chelsea goal. Manchester United had it much easier with a 1-3 win over an Arsenal team led by Cesc Fabregás.

You couldn’t ask for any more emotion than this! Both clubs are leaders in their respective home leagues and with only a few matches to go, both could be crowned league champions. Barça is 8 points clear at the top with Real Madrid currently second, still smarting over their 2-6 defeat by a far superior Pep Guardiola team while Manchester United are 3 points clear of Liverpool, their nearest rivals. Manchester United also have a game in hand which takes some of the pressure off.

After the “clash of the titans” which was last year’s final between Manchester and Chelsea; Barcelona will try to introduce some new elements this year namely a less physical style which is more centred on ball control.

Although Manchester United are the current holders of the trophy it is not the first time Barcelona reach the final with an English team. Barcelona won the trophy in 2006 beating London club Arsenal FC 2-1 with goals from Eto’o and Belletti.

Barcelona FC has received some great complements this year due to the sheer quality of their football and their fans will expect more of the same in this final and who are also hoping that Barcelona can manage the “triple” – League, Copa Del Rey and Champions League cups. On the other hand Manchester will try to defend the trophy and hold onto it. They were the last team to win the “triple” in 1999 – a feat that Barça would dearly love to accomplish.

Would you like to watch the match live this year? I’m sure you would! Buy your tickets before it’s too late and don’t forget about your accommodation. Rent the best apartments in Rome and enjoy this epic Champions League final.
