The female orgasm is possible without physical contact

Contrary to common belief, women can reach orgasms easily only using their brains, which, as scientists (and my own mother!) say, is the most powerful sexual organ in the body.

For a lot of men, female orgasm is a true mystery and an extensively discussed subject between male friends and experts. And the only reason for these long debates about the female orgasms is, ultimately, a misunderstanding of female sexual pleasure itself and myriad misconceptions about female sexuality. Many think that you just have to find the “right” way of touching and caressing the female body in order to make women reach an orgasm.

But new studies have shown what nobody has even dared to think about: female orgasm is possible without any form of physical contact. Researchers from Rutgers University have found strong evidence that show that women can reach an orgasm only through mental stimulation. This was revealed in magnetic resonance tests showing that a woman who was aroused presented specific brain activities.

The woman investigated for this study was Barbara Carrellas, who started this practice in 1980 after the USA was hit by the AIDS crisis. Carrellas saw many colleagues and friends die of AIDS, so she decided to investigate different ways of reaching an orgasm without necessarily having sex.

But the idea of a connection between thoughts and orgasms isn’t something new. In the 70s the researchers Master & Johnson documented a connection between sexuality and thought, especially in women. In fact, Dr. Ian Kerner assured us that the brain is the most powerful sexual organ in the body.
